  Buyer Beware! I ordered a cookie cake for my daughter's 13th birthday party. I received a call that the owner did not purchase the pans for the size cake I ordered so I had to order a larger and different shaped cake. When I went to pick the cake up, the cake was poorly shaped (a make-shift rectangle), has no design on it (was supposed to have a spider and spider web), my daughter's name was misspelled, and there was a big dent in the cake. I refused to take this cake and the clerk said she would make me a new one. I told him er that I was in a time crunch. She said she could have it ready in 45 min. I agreed. When I returned after an hour, the new cake was cracked and the decorating had just begun. I asked for the manager and owners phone numbers. I was told she doesn't have them. I was going to take this cake because i was desperate. I waited another 30 min in the store and no further attention was given to the cake as the only worker in the store was waiting on other guests. I finally said i had to leave because my guests were due to arrive. I requested my money back and was refused On Monday, I called and spoke to the manager. She said she thought the cake was pretty good other than the design was forgotten. She said none of their cakes have straight edges and the dent was from a thumb where the cake was removed from the pan. Yuk. I asked for a refund. She refused stating "you paid online, so you don't get a refund" (the only way to order online is to pay online). I asked for the owner's phone number and email. She said he doesn't have an email (interesting for a businessman) and she refused to give me his number. She said she would give him my number and have him call me. Guess who hasn't received a phone call from the owner? I was able to buy a beautiful cookie cake from Mrs. Fields (albeit late) that was delicious. Don't waste your time and money with Nestle. Go to Mrs. Fields!
